Swim Foundations Start Early

Buckler Aquatics has an early swim program tailored to infants and toddlers called the Buckler TAD Program. The Tad Program introduces young swimmers to a sense of water orientation, building trust between the swimmer and the instructor. Using proven methods and slow, gentle persuasion, instructors introduce the components of this program, which are breath retention and breath control. From there, swimmers move on to front floats with their head under water, followed by back floats. Receiving the Tad Badge is a very rewarding event for young swimmers—even gold medal winners! Ready to introduce your little one to the water?

The Importance of Early Water Exposure

Introducing your child to water in a safe, controlled environment encourages natural movement and breathing skills. Early exposure helps toddlers gain body awareness and reduce fear, which are critical to future swimming success.

Our classes create a supportive atmosphere where parents actively participate. This involvement enhances bonding while your child learns to adapt to the water’s feel and temperature.

What Our Infant & Toddler Swim Programs Include

through play and guided activities.

  • Safety Skills: Learning safe entry and exit, basic breath control,
